Please read the following information carefully before your tattoo appointment.

Tattooing involves penetration of the skin. Even when professional hygiene standards, sterile equipment and single-use materials are used, there are potential risks associated with the procedure.

Possible Risks

Infection

A fresh tattoo is an open wound and improper aftercare may lead to infection.

Always follow our instructions and only touch the tattoo with clean hands.

Allergic Reactions

Some people may experience reactions to tattoo pigments, disinfectants, adhesives, protective films or aftercare products.

Please inform us if you have any known allergies.

Blood-borne Infections

Procedures that involve penetration of the skin may carry a risk of blood-borne infections, including HBV, HCV and HIV.

We uses sterile equipment and single-use materials in accordance with our hygiene procedures.

Scarring & Skin Reactions

In some cases, scarring, keloids, granulomas or other skin reactions may occur.

Healing varies from person to person.

Tattoo Permanence

Tattoos are intended to be permanent.

Complete removal is not always possible and may require multiple laser or other treatments. Removal procedures may also cause changes in skin pigmentation, texture or scarring.

Please make sure you are comfortable with the design and placement before the procedure begins.

Aftercare

Keep it clean

Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

Gently wash the area with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. Do not scrub.

Follow our instructions

Keep the protective film on for the period recommended by your tattoo artist.

If an aftercare product is recommended, apply only a thin layer.

Do not pick or scratch

Peeling, itching and small scabs can be part of the normal healing process.

Allow them to fall away naturally.

Avoid soaking

Until your tattoo has healed, avoid:

  • swimming pools
  • hot tubs
  • saunas
  • long baths
  • swimming in the sea or lakes

Short showers are fine.

Avoid direct sunlight

Keep your fresh tattoo away from direct sunlight.

Once fully healed, use appropriate sun protection to help preserve the tattoo.

Avoid friction

Wear clean, comfortable clothing and avoid excessive rubbing or pressure on the tattooed area.

Important

Your healing process and final tattoo result depend on your individual skin response and on following the aftercare instructions correctly.

If you have any questions during healing, please contact us.
